Project details: Usually we keep our mobile phone in charging before we sleep. The mobile phone takes couple of hours to charge but the charger is kept on until morning. This will affect the battery life of our phone. A simple circuit with two LEDs can address this problem. We can insert the circuit inside our phone, charging adaptor or power bank. Until the battery is fully charged LED – RED remains on. Once the battery is fully charged LED- GREEN turns on. This will enable the user to know the charge level of the battery. Currently the switching between the LEDs is done with slight switch but once the circuit is incorporated inside an appliance it can be automated. Moreover we can add a Buzzer to alert the user once the battery is fully charged.
